Ran into this on a MacBook Air M2. Archive Utility wouldn't extract a zip on double-click.

Set up an ssh key on macOS so you can log into the server without typing a password Normally I don't do this, for security.

Installing homebrew on OSX 10.10.3, from running the install script in the terminal through the initial checks.

I've been using the settings below from version 8 through 11. Done. This worked for me.
